Aunt Sharon and Cousin Joie came for a visit on Sunday so that Mom and Dad could go on a date!  Bob San sushi anyone?  Delicious.

Graham cannot get enough of his Mom.

In his crib just before bedtime.

Charlie doesn't get as much attention these days.  Here he is snuggling with the "Mad Awful Kitty."

Graham in his Ralph Lauren.  Quite fashionable for a little over two weeks.

I have the BabyBjorn Bouncy in the library next to my desk.  Not sure if Graham likes it or simply tolerates it.  In any case, he doesn't last more than 15 minutes.
Graham's favorite sleeping position.

Chloe's maiden solo voyage with the Bugaboo Chameleon.
Trip number two to the pediatrician today.  Graham gained 10 ounces in seven days.  We're not sure how long he'll fit in the car seat.
Loves to sleep in the car (and in the Bugaboo, with its superior suspension system).
Mom in the pediatrician's waiting room.
U-cord almost gone.  Graham was such a good boy at the doctor's.  Dad gives his son lots of kisses.

Graham in his favorite sleeping position: snuggling on Mom's chest.
Graham slept all afternoon on Aunt Sharon.
Lots of love for the little guy.
Opening his eyes more and more these days.  (Not quite sure who he resembles here.)
The rapidly-recovering Mom before her first solo walk with Graham.

Dad and Graham, nose-to-nose.
Content in dad's arms.
Another shot with Grandpa Clinger before he and Grandma Clinger headed back to G.R.
A close up of Graham's monkey toes.

Graham holding Grandma Clinger's hand.

Graham loves the car seat. Here he is all strapped in to his Peg Perego Primo Viaggio prior to our first trip to the pediatrician.

No post would be complete without Charlie. Here he is staring at the bulldog on TV. Too funny!

Graham and Grandpa Berkman.
Grandma Clinger snuggling with the cherub.
The proud new grandparents.

For Sarah and Jason, the blogging gods.

Mom and Dad with Graham in post-Op.
Graham at six hours.
We had to get Graham into some of his new clothes. Handsome boy!
Graham and Grandpa Clinger.
Skin-to-skin. Yummy.

After 18 painful hours of trying to induce labor, the MFN recommended that we have a section. Chloe was so brave! This is how I found her when I was finally let into the OR.
Graham Emerson Clinger's first photo. Chloe and I were looking at each other when we heard a cry. Chloe said, "that's him!" I looked over and there he was! From what I had been told, I expected him to be slimy and alien-like; instead he looked like a boxer post-match. Nine pounds, six ounces and 21.5 inches long. Instant love.
Not too thrilled about being yanked out of the womb.
We subsequently learned that his umbilical cord had a knot in it.
Proud new father holding his new son.

The weather on Commencement Day was brilliant. Bitting the lip as I head out for the law school ceremony.
One of my dearest friends, Alex, and me post-graduation.
Done! We're done! (Now we get to study for the Bar... or at least I do; Alex went right to the top running a tech start-up.)
The Clinger family.
The Clinger men, noticeably tired from a long day.
